Trump: Gaza Suffering from 'Real Starvation' as Crisis Deepens
Trump Acknowledges 'Real Starvation' in Gaza, Contradicting Netanyahu's Claims
Donald Trump has acknowledged that there is "real starvation" in Gaza, directly contradicting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who recently dismissed such claims as a "bold-faced lie."
When asked whether he agreed with Netanyahu’s denial that Israel is contributing to hunger in Gaza, the former U.S. president responded:
"I don't know... those children look very hungry... that's real starvation stuff."
Trump made the remarks during a meeting with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer in Scotland. He also criticized the broader handling of the conflict, saying:
"Nobody's done anything great over there. The whole place is a mess... I told Israel maybe they have to do it a different way."
